About

Nik McFly

I build things on the internet, and I've been doing it since 2000.

I'm Nik McFly — Moscow-born, Almaty-based.

Communities are the thread that runs through all of it. Bitcoined, the world's first Bitcoin community on Facebook, back in 2011. CreativeRussia, 5K creatives on Slack. McFly.Aero, 100K people around flying taxis. A 24/7 Clubhouse room. The Eurasian AI Association.

Then a few years running Hybrain — an AI agency that worked with 24 businesses across 33 countries, trained 1,500+ people, and shipped 25+ AI integrations. Co-founded what started as an AI meme and turned into an autonomous AI agent framework — 6,300 GitHub stars, million-plus reach, organic seed funding, all off a name nobody could say out loud.

Now I'm building a music AI company (stealth). 10M+ streams.

Operating inside opaque systems is a family habit. My grandfather was a Soviet intelligence officer — the liaison between Khrushchev and Kennedy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. These days I write short, operational books about systems most people use blind. Phone farms that don't get banned. AI model agencies. Prediction markets. Provisional patents filed for $65 without a lawyer. How to get your brand cited inside ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. Staying sharp when machines do your thinking for you. Six books so far, one more in progress. The Polymarket Files is built on 1.9 billion trading records and the full on-chain history of the world's biggest prediction market.

I play Go, I've been to 33 countries, and I have a tattoo on my tooth. I also stoically survived losing 80 Bitcoin — the password just doesn't work.

I speak and organize AI events — AIrathon 2024 in Almaty, the AI analytics program for the Senate of Kazakhstan, a hands-on workshop for 50 journalists at MNU. Growth Forum Kazakhtelecom, Eurasian Mobile Summit, and 10+ others. If there's a stage and the topic is AI, I've probably been on it.
